What is PICO-8?

Why make games with PICO-8?

It's fun! I think having limitations breeds creativity, and the limitations of PICO-8 are just the right balance between being able to make almost anything, yet still having to engineer clever solutions to problems. In a way it is harder, but it is also simpler than traditional game development.
